WELCOME TO VISITOR VISA
Generally, a citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter any country in the world must first obtain a visa except visa exempt policy of your home country. Visitor visas are generally Temporary Resident Visas for persons who want to enter into any country for different purposes. The term ‘’Tourist or Visit or Business Visitor’’ visa is the same sound or same visa but purpose of visa is fully different from each other.
The Tourist Visa Purpose
- Tourism (Sightseeing, Entertainment & Pleasure)
- Vacation (Holiday)
Application Time: Only Tourist Session (Depending on the country). The tourist time depends on the country only for its geographical weather. That reason, tourist session is not same for all countries. Application time is a depending issue for world geographical condition.
The Visitor Visa Purpose
- Visit with Friends or Relatives
- Enrollment in a Short Recreational Course or Program of Study (not for credit toward a degree).
- Participation in Social Events hosted by Fraternal, Social, or Service Organizations
- Participation by Amateurs in Musical, Sports, or Similar Events or Contests, if not being paid for participating.
- Medical Treatment (Sometimes)
Application Time: Any time when it necessary.
Business Visitor Visa Purpose
- Consult with Business Associates
- Attend an International Scientific, Educational, Professional, or Business Convention or Conference, Training Programs.
- Settle an Estate
- Negotiate a Contract
Application Time: Any time when it necessary.
GATHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
Please gather and prepare the following required documents before your application and visa interview:
01. Appropriate Application Form.
02. Family Information Form (If necessary).
03. Valid Passport (Min. 6 months’ validity).
04. Photo-4 copies (Photo Size depends on the destination country).
05. Pay the Visa Application Fee.
06. Professional Documents
07. Financial Documents
08. Returning Document to your home country.
09. Supportive Documents
10. Schedule or fix an appointment at the Embassy.
11. Attend Your Visa Interview (If necessary).
12. Additional Documentation May Be Required: Additional documents may be requested to establish if you are qualified. For example, additional requested documents may include evidence of:
(A) The Purpose of your trip.
(B) Your intent to depart your destination country after your trip.
(C) Your ability to pay all costs of the trip.
Evidence of your previous and current employment/ business/your family ties should be appropriate documents to show the purpose of your trip and your intent to return to your home country. If you cannot cover all the costs for your trip, you may show evidence that another person will cover some or all costs for your trip.
ATTEND YOUR VISA INTERVIEW (IF NECESSARY)
A consular officer will interview you to determine whether you are qualified to receive a visitor visa. You must establish that you meet the requirements under destination country to receive a visa. Digital fingerprint scans are taken as part of the application process. They are usually taken during your interview, but this varies based on location. Digital fingerprint is currently applicable for Bangladeshi citizen.

Interviews are generally required for visa applicants with certain limited exceptions below. Visa officer may require an interview of any visa applicant.

THE PROCESSING TIME
The Visitor Visa processing time ranges from minimum 12 to 40 days working days. However, the processing time is different depending on the country you live in (Bangladesh). Please apply for visa in advance.
